WHAT YOU'LL LEARN IN THIS COURSE

  • Parents and Caregivers will learn about speech and language development and how to apply this information to their children. The Course and Coaching sessions span three months. The Course consists of informational and instructional pre-recorded videos, and three live sessions. If the parent is unable to be present at the live sessions, she can watch them at her convenience. Each participant will be mailed and provided the stimulus materials to utilize with the child. 


  • Every child develops uniquely. This course is taught by a speech pathologist who has worked in the field for over 15 years. She designed the course so that parents, caregivers, and educators can capture the precious, yet swift passing time that children have to develop speech and language skills. Using stimulus materials and instructions, parents examples of facilitating language while enriching memories and child-parent time. 


                  At the time of enrollment, the participant is given access to the class materials for 90 days.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Ayana Webb, M.A., CCC-SLP Ayana Webb, a nationally certified speech pathologist, and the certified teacher instructs the Speech and Learning Success Course. She has provided speech services for babies, toddlers, school-aged and teenage children. Ayana has a particular sensitivity for parents because the missteps of speech-language milestones happen early on when parents are busy and unaware of signs and opportunities. Ayana has treated speech disorders such as stuttering, autism, articulation delay, and language delays. Offering resources and tools for parents, Ayana will help parents intervene and nurture speech and language at home, competently. She has authored a book, "Buzz Words" which was dedicated to reducing stigma and bullying due to speech problems.
